Ally Hours
Bring any piece of writing. Work on it alongside peers. Get feedback from Nandita.
Sometimes you don't need a whole program. You just need a little momentum.
Ally Hours are for writers who want occasional feedback, accountability, or simply a reason to sit down and write — without committing to a longer program.
Come with whatever you're working on that week: a chapter, essay, application, short story, work document, half-formed idea, or something you haven't quite figured out yet.
Two hours. Two parts.
Part 01
Write
Check in, settle into focused writing time, and decide what you want feedback on.
Part 02
Get feedback
Structured group feedback led by Nandita, shaped around what each person actually needs that week.
Enough community. Enough attention.
Each session is capped at five people so there is enough variety and conversation to make the group interesting, without losing meaningful individual feedback.
If only one person signs up, the session becomes a one-hour 1:1 with Nandita instead of the full two-hour group session.
There isn't one way to use Ally Hours.
Priya needs feedback on demand.
Priya moves between short stories, essays and writing for work. She doesn't need a weekly mentor. She needs somewhere she can occasionally bring whatever is active and ask, “Can you help me figure this out?”
David needs a reason to keep showing up.
David is a lawyer whose personal writing is always the first thing to disappear when work gets busy. Ally Hours gives him a standing appointment with his own writing — and a community expecting him to show up.

Come write
Bring whatever you're working on.
You don't need to arrive with a polished draft, a publishing plan, or even complete clarity about what you're making. Just bring something you want to move forward.
