  • Anyone 15 or older is welcome.

    If you are younger than 18, please apply using the link below and also request your legal guardian to email Nandita confirming their support of your participation.

  • When you register, you will be asked to share information about a social, political, or cultural question that is on your mind. Based on your interests, Nandita will focus the workshop activities around a particular theme. Through the lens of that theme, we will explore what it means to create artistic work in unconventional spaces: bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, and beyond!

  • Absolutely not! As long as you are willing to play, learn, and experiment, you are welcome.

  • The workshop will primarily be conducted in English. Nandita understands/speaks Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam but her skills in these languages are out of practice at the moment!

      • Scholarships are available for those who cannot afford the fee.

      • The suggested fee for each participant is USD 5 as a monthly subscription to Nandita’s Grey Zones Substack.

      • If you are able to afford an annual subscription of USD 50 to Grey Zones, you are welcome to choose that option. Your generosity will be used to support participants who cannot afford the suggested fee.

      • Existing paid subscribers on Substack will not need to pay again.
