Write your World
Imagine meeting people from different corners of the world. Not only will you connect through conversation, but you'll explore the spaces around you through writing and storytelling.
Using words, images, and videos, you'll discover kindred spirits while experiencing their neighborhoods. You'll hear their stories of place, see what their streets look like, and share tales of your own surroundings.
This isn't just a virtual workshop; it's a journey that will take you away from your screen and into the world around you, creating connections that span continents through the power of place-based storytelling.

This incubator is for anyone 15 and over with an interest in meeting people from different parts of the world through storytelling. You do NOT need to be a writer to attend — as long as you’re curious and willing to engage, you are welcome!
Participants under 18 will need signed consent from a legal guardian. Please email nanditadinesh@gmail.com for the form. -
We begin with community building and getting to know each other
We start with storytelling prompts that invite us to engage with the immediate space around us (our homes, our desks, wherever we’re Zoom-ing in from).
We move on to prompts that take us outside our immediate spaces, into the streets around us.
We work on refining the stories generated from the prompts, with time for 1:1 support from Nandita.
We end with mini-presentations, where each participant shares what they have worked on.

The fee is $100 for the eight hour workshop; also included is a yearly subscription to Grey Zones (with the opportunity to attend monthly, virtual gatherings for a year).
Please note that we are unable to provide scholarships at this time.
Venmo, Paypal, and Zelle are the only payment options available at the moment.
No refunds are possible except in extenuating circumstances that can be evidenced.
